If you’re nostalgic for the mail man, this one’s for you. For the Christmas period I’m designing a bespoke collage and writing a letter for 14 special people.
This might be something you gift to yourself. It might be something you gift to a loved one, or someone who lives alone. It’s an experiment in slow-art and connection. It’s a response to the mass of fast-paced social ads and clutter filling our inbox, and a reminder that gifting during the festive period can foster deep connection and care. And if you’re abroad and want to send something special to family in the UK, this might just be the perfect way.
I cannot guarantee you the exact content of each one, but I can guarantee that both the letter and the collage will be designed to inspire and encourage the recipient to live their life fully, beautifully and creatively.
Why only 14?
I would love to make these for free (!) However, to make it a sustainable system and deliver the best possible service, the cost covers the love, care, attention-to-detail and personalisation that I want to put into each parcel. I’ve worked out that’s roughly 14 pieces of bespoke art. The point is not to cram making as many as I can into a day. It may be a terrible business model, but if you’re interested in doing gifting differently this Christmas, I promise not to let you down.
