If you’re nostalgic for the mail man, this one’s for you. For the Winter and festive period I’m designing a bespoke A5 collage and writing a letter to 13 special people.
Each one will be entirely unique, but I can guarantee that both the letter and the collage will be designed to inspire and encourage the recipient to live their life fully, beautifully and creatively.
It might be something you gift to a loved one, or someone who lives alone. Or you may gift it to yourself! It’s an experiment in slow-art and connection. It’s a response to the mass of fast-paced social ads and clutter filling our inbox, and a reminder that gifting during the festive period can foster deep connection and care. And if you’re abroad and want to send something special to family in the UK, this might just be the perfect way.
Why only 13?
I would love to make these for free (!) However, to make it a sustainable system and deliver the best possible service, the cost covers the love, care, attention-to-detail and personalisation that I want to put into each parcel. I’ve worked out that’s roughly 13 pieces of bespoke art. The point is not to cram making as many as I can into a day. It may be a terrible business model, but if you’re interested in doing gifting differently this Christmas, I promise not to let you down.
